By accessing and using FounderHacks (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
FounderHacks provides marketing resources, including but not limited to playbooks, templates, checklists, tools, case studies, community features, and cohort programmes for software founders. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid tiers.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
4. Subscription and Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy below.
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 30 days of your subscription, contact us for a full refund. Cohort programme refunds are available up to 7 days before the cohort start date.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Reproduce, distribute, or resell any content from the Service without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users in community features
6. Intellectual Property
All content on FounderHacks — including playbooks, templates, checklists, tools, text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of FounderHacks or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Your licence
Upon subscribing, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own business purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share paid content.
Templates
Templates are provided as starting points. You may use, modify, and deploy templates for your own business. However, you may not resell templates or create a competing product based on our template library.
7. User-Generated Content
If you submit content through community features (comments, posts, feedback), you grant FounderHacks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, modify, and display that content in connection with the Service. You retain ownership of your content.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. FounderHacks does not guarantee any specific results from using the Service. Marketing outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FounderHacks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware, USA.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
